Goonies Day ~ 35th Anniversary Celebration

 Multiple venues around town will host events. We will set up an event headquarters, known as The Goon Docks, where registration and merchandise will be housed.  In the past, we have offered these activities, but this list does not guarantee that all of these will occur in 2020. 

• Local theaters playing The Goonies – in 2010 we debuted the fan-made documentary and had a red carpet event with the cast and Warner Bros. announcing the blu-ray edition coming out later in the year.
• Presentations from crew members that were a part of the filming.
• Tours to the locations by bus.
• Fan gatherings including picnics, group truffle shuffles, concert performance, costume contests, etc.
• Meet and greets with cast including autograph opportunities.
• Scavenger hunt type of activity leading participants to many businesses throughout the community.
